We’re proud to recognize and celebrate the incredible number of students who achieved zero tardies for the entire school year!!
These students demonstrated outstanding responsibility, punctuality, and commitment to their education. Thank you for setting a great example for our school community! Each student received a one-of-a-kind laser-engraved keychain to help commemorate the achievement!💙

WMS Pride Alert!
Check out this photo from this morning! It features 14 staff members who all attended West Middle School as students!
Front row: Mrs. Peterson, Mrs. Wytosick, and Mrs. Curry
Back row: Mr. Cerny, Mrs. Welch, Mr. McNabb, Mr. Sesso, Mr. Hines, Mrs. Stonecipher, Mrs. Ruthford, Mrs. Young, Mrs. Schumacher, Mr. Karn, and Mr. Miessner.
That's right, they loved WMS so much, they came back to make a difference in the next generation. That says everything about the kind of school West truly is. West Middle School is more than just a school. It’s a community, a family, and one incredible place to learn and work!

Our Lifeways counselor, Nick Wiest, has compiled this informational flyer for parents and guardians to use during the upcoming summer months. Nick has been an incredible addition to West this year, and his passion for helping students is evident. If you have questions or would like more information, please reach out to him at: Nicholes.Wiest@k12.sd.us
